Default Key Fob Malfunction

I've searched the forums but can't find the answere for this problem.

I left the lights on the other night and the battery died. Since jumping the battery to get the car started again my key fob doesn't interact with the car to lock/unlock the doors or open the trunk remotely. Battery in the Fob is brand new and the red light is going on so I'm thinking I have to recalibrate the remote with the car somehow.....any advice?

Default Try the manual.

I think there's a procedure for keying the car to a new remote. If your car no longer remembers your remote, you should be able to "reacquaint" them.

Default Re: Key Fob Malfunction

Mine does not work as in the (Eur) manual, but try this: ignition on - press open button in remote, then close button - ign off - remove key. Same for both keys, it should work.

Should work also first close, then open button
but don't remember exactly ...
