Default that looks really nice, makes me wanna go and lease one right now...

i suppose your dealer doesnt really care what you do to the car (spring, debadging, tint, etc...)

looks great man.

Default It's easy to change that stuff back

Tearing off the tint (which most dealerships don't really care about too much, unless it's too dark.... might just remove the front windows only), swapping the stock springs back in, and sticking the emblems back onto the trunk. Maybe a few hours of work at the end of my 24 month lease so I'm not really worried about it.

Default I think it is the PERFECT DROP.......

I've actually ran into a few B6 owners and their suspension was basically the same height as mine. And they all said that it was like that from the factory (sport package) but no fender gap.

After looking at the car again today, the car really doesn't look slammed, but just lowered with no fender gap. It can still easily pass off as a factory mod.

Default Question about spacers

Steve,

If you recall, I have a car similar to yours (2.0T FrontTrak 6-speed, S-line in Quartz gray). I have a set of 10 mm wheels H&R hubcentric spacers on my Passat which I was planning to remove before I sell that car. I was debating whether to put them on the A4 or hang onto them for later use.

When I look at the front wheels, it seems as if they are fine where they're at. Adding 10 mm spacers looks as if it might push them beyond the fenders, but the back sure looks like it could use the spacers.

Do you see any problem with just putting 10 mm spacers on the back wheels? I am not planning to lower the car (frankly I don't think it needs it) if that matters. Did you get new longer lug bolts? That's what I did on my Passat.

Default Re: Question about spacers

at a 10mm spacer I suspect you'll need longer bolts. 5mm and under generally can use stock ones

what I would do to figure out the rear spacer size is take a tape measure from side to side, measuring from outside of the tire on the front and rear. From there, you can figure out if front track is wider than rear and then space accordingly.
