i was in 5th gear around 112 mph when i felt the car lose a tremendous amount of power. i thought it was the tranny that gave out or something so i put it in nuetral and let it coast for a couple of seconds and then put it back into 5th. when i stepped on the gas it would not pass 3 pounds. then it jerked a couple of seconds later and allowed me to step on it. the next time i was in 6th at around 120 and it happened again. i called it off, i did 65 the rest of the way home. i was messing around with a g35 when it happened. i am almost positive that i am running lean and thats my ecu telling me to chill. so im babying the car until i get it or until i get a rational explanation. any ideas..thanks

Pierre stop abusing your car man. you need it to be healthy for when they finally release the BT kit! Come on kid, did you think about the fuel pump?

Also check your brake fluid, low brake fluid level or leaking brake reservoir could occasionally cause the brake pedal to rest on the brake light switch thus trigger the ECU to cut off fuel while accelerating.
The limp is normal when you try to floor the gas while the ECU cut off fuel.
