need advice - warranty issue
So my rear defrost switch has always given me some trouble, it gets stuck every now and then. I reported this at my 15K service and the guy told me they had cleaned it, it worked ok for 1 day before the stickiness returned. I didnt bother going back for that - too trivial, i figured would report it next time I went in.
Yesterday i brought the car in for my 25K service, and mentioned it again - this time they tell me they found an external substance in the switch indicating something spilled on it and therefore warranty wont cover it.
So I told him I know nothing spilled on it, the cup holders are like 2 feet away and I had also documented this problem before. So the guy says he will call his service manager and call me back, which he hasnt done yet.
Whats the best course of action if he comes back saying they wont cover it?

ask to speak with an Audi Regional Field Rep
The Field Reps come around every so often and meet with dealerships as well as handle customer complaints such as disputed warranty issues.
