I know you had APR stg1 map for a while.
Do you notice any hesitation shifting at 6K in lower gears during WOT? I have same program and I am noticing a little delay in the transition from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd occasionally.
I don't experience the hesitation if I shift at redline..

I don't have a dog in this hunt (or any hunt, or any dog for that matter), but I enjoyed the response. "Refer to this patent" is pretty strong Troll Antidote. :-)

Brett
Why do you not come out in full for all the other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda 2.0T FSI engines ??
If you could flash the ME9.1, then these cars/engines also should be done.
If you only do the A4 2.0T FSI with ME9.1 - then you are NOT flashing the ecu unit ME9.1 with all the checksum intact.
And be a nice guy - don't go after my English - this is not the issue here.

we have released the Euro A3 2.0T software, and are finalizing the tuning on the North American A3 2.0T. We have also almost completed the tuning process for the Euro GTI/Jetta 2.0T.

I can tell you that APR almost certainly uses an ActiveX control (ie. client software) that is simply embedded in Internet Explorer for ease-of-use.
Instead of installing a software package and then downloading a .bin file and loading it up in the flash app, they just select the file from the web page and it's loaded through the ActiveX control.
This prevents from having problems like old .bin files laying around on the hard drive, it allows APR to combine the various programs they offer into the single bin file properly, and it ensures that you're always getting the newest software. It may also help them tie the software to your ECU (just speculating, I have no idea if they do this) to prevent people pirating their code.
Note, I have no affiliation with APR, nor am I a dealer (I'm a developer at Microsoft) - I've just seen their app in action when my old A4 was flashed and I'm speculating based on that experience and what I've read. So Brett/Tom/Whoever can correct me if they wish
