Default New A4 2.0T Owner!

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for all the help you've given me on wheels, tires, engines, and all that. I finally got my 2007 A4 yesterday and am still excited every time I think about it!

These are pictures I took with my camera phone, so pardon the bad quality. I'll take some more with my SLR today and post them soon. Woohoo!

Stats:
2007 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro 6M
- Premium Package
- Deep Sea Blue Pearl

(yup, that's it, I like it simple)

Planned Mods:
- UHP Tires (Probably ContiExtreme)
- APR Tuning (some day, not for the first few k miles)
- Some sort of bra (probably spray on for long distances)
- all weather mats
- Tinted Windows (being done today as we speak!) 20% rear, 50% front and windshield

BTW, what's a good brand of cloth I can use to dust the car? Are those "California Dusters" any good?

(PICTURES UPDATED ON A REPLY THREAD)

Default Unless it's my work cpu blocking the images, I don't see any of the pics...

but congrats anyway! Looking forward to seeing the pics. And my wife's avant isn't that loaded either. We kept it fairly simple (although I did wish we added the Xenon lighting and heated seats). Oh well.

Default Dusting = scratching, don't do it. Also, pics are broken.

Check out the detailing forum for good car-care tips.

I think dusting is OK on colors like Quartz + silver.. Black or deep colors a no-no.

strange... the pics worked for me... let me work on it...

I did do a search on the detailing forum, and some people say the "California Duster" is good. I get dust every day from parking at work, and I live in a complex that forbids washing cars or hoses... so I guess I need to find a way to remove the dust every day...

Make sure the car has a good coat ox wax on it, or even better, Zaino polish.

Default California Dusters are great - but only for the interior and....

you have to get all of the silicone stuff off of the bristles
