Newly Chipped-GIAC Question

I had my car chipped yesterday. I've been enjoying the added performance since then but have one concern.
I first noticed it while driving on the highway right after i had gotten my car done. I was going about 60, in 6th gear @ about 2000rpms. I pushed the pedal down without down shifting and at about 2200rpms a "vibration" started and resonated through out the car. i immediately took my foot of the gas and the sound went away immediately. I reapplied the gas and the "vibration" started again, i kept accelerating and the "vibration" ceased @ about 2800rpms. after exiting the highway. i tried the same thing in the other gears. gears 1-3 are fine. no "vibration". 4th and 5th gear have the same "vibration" starting at about 2000rpms lasting until 2800rpms.
The "vibration" sounds a lot like when you are going too slow in a gear that is too high. it has that bogged down sort of sound to it. It is very deep sounding and causes the car to vibrate in much the same way.
Has anyone else with a GIAC chip experienced this? Does it go away? I plan on going back to the shop that chipped it and asking them to troubleshoot it. Thanks for your input and insights.

mine does that too. its putting too much power at too low of an rpm.
it's the same thing as you trying to accelerate in 4th gear when doing 15mph, your car just doesnt do it.
don't accelerate by flooring the gas pedal at that low of rpms, in that high of gear

If you want to punch it, minimum 2800-3000 RPMs. 3k is the sweet spot to start at.
Downshift next time

right on. It seems weird that it starts at 2200rpms and not right away at 2000rpms. Why would that be? i guess at 2200 there are the right amount of horses to make the clutch chatter?

On level ground, no acceleration, my minimum speed in 6th is 55-60 (rpm is below turbo kick-in). If accelerating, as up to speed on an interstate, then 70 is minimum shift point.
When having fun, I never get to 6th.
So, when do you shift to 6th?

Otherwise, it's 5th. Sometimes I find being in 5th yields better fuel consumption than 6th because in 6th, sometimes the engine will have to work harder at lower RPMs to speed up, etc.
