Hi all, I am thinking of buying my first Audi and was looking for some input and or advice. I am looking at a 2008 A4 Avant 2.0 Quattro with just over 100,000
Recently had the timing belt done.
Any advice on what to look out for and what to expect would be greatly appreciated. I am a private chef and can lend food/cooking advice or help to say thank you.
Cheers Matthew

Matt,
Please do get a car fax report on the Avant. If the majority or all of the scheduled work was done by reputable dealers, you are likely OK even with the 100,000 mile issue.
I have a 2009 A4 2.0 T and it is a very reliable engine.
After 68,000 miles I have yet to replace anything but spark plugs.
Always use the VW/Audi recommended oil; why this is so special is a mystery to me but so far, so good.
