Is it normal for the 2.0t engine to almost sound "rough" at Idle? The car only has 100 miles on it

Default Is it normal for the 2.0t engine to almost sound "rough" at Idle? The car only has 100 miles on it
and it just sounds rough at idle.. Any Ideas before I have to loose it a day so it can go to the dealer?

Default That's pretty much the way it is - consumer reports even
mentions it, so don't worry -

Like Zerin said, it's the sound of the FSI (direct injection) that gives it a high compression ratio (hence the diesel like sound)

Some folks on this forum also report vibrations when revving early on...

It's just a fact of life in a 4-cyl...don't get me started with the 1.8T and a loud lawnmower.......

Default Normal for the 2.0 louder than the 1.8T
the 1.8T once warmed up is not so loud
the 2.0, every one I heard sounds like a diesel
all the time
