Default Odd stalling issue

Hi, all,,, I am new to this site, have two Audi's (04 A4 1.8T 6spd & 05 A4 2.0T 6spd Avant). I am a marine mechanic (diesel-electrical & electronics) don't claim to be an auto mechanic but am stumped on a weird problem.

My wifes 05 2.0 Avant stalls only on restart, after its been warmed up, and only once. You crank the engine it seems like its starving for fuel then starts and then the problen goes away. It doesn't stall while driving ( although there is a very slight hesitation issue when accelerating), only after restarting once, and only when warm. Initialy there was no DTC (codes) I took it to a local shop and got codes P0089 Intake manifold Runner position sensor switch and P0089 Fuel Pressure Regulator performance. But they are not sure that is the real issue. I am wondering if this is a vacuum problem throwing false codes.

I just purchased a VAG pro PC program, and this is what i got.

The car has been working fine I cant believe all of a sudden it has all these problems. Is Audi know for throwing false codes? It looks to me there are two if not three issues along with the battery voltage possibly throw false codes. Looking at all the dtc's, several point to the crankcase ventilation valve and/or vacuum leak. I am going to replace the battery since twice at static I have registered below 12.5 vdc ( even though it cranks the engine normally and without ever a problem) then the maf. I see many people have this problem on other Audi forms as well. If anyone has any suggestions or similar experience with this problem please feel free to elaborate. A new symptom has cropped up, when shifting gears the rpms do not drop they actually increase slightly,, this seems to be a altogether separate issue.

fueling problems scream cam follower to me. I'm guessing youve never had one changed and they have been known to fail on these audi's. It is located right under your fuel pump and follows your cam. If your cam wears thru ur follower, itll damage your cam and fuel pump and can cause fueling problems. There is alot of information out there on cam follower DIY's. You can buy one online for like 40$ and it is not hard to change one. Thats where i would start, hopefully you get it sorted out.
