Taking very long. Does this seem right? How long did you wait? Anything I can do by calling Audi USA?

But without knowing what is going on with their production right now (new models coming on line) it's hard to say what the hold up is. There is also a production slowdown in August so it may be the car wasn't started until September despite when you ordered it. Maybe your dealer had to wait for an Avant allocation to come up before the order went in, too.
I doubt calling AoA is going to do you any good. Putting a sold order car at the back of the line benefits no one, so I'm sure they want it here too.

90-120 days is normal for Special order cars. I'm willing to bet that you get it in the middle of November. It is always better to quote a longer delivery time and have the car show up early. It also depends on your dealer allocation.

I ordered one 8/3107 and it looks like mine is supposed to be produced week 47. It is all about production cycles and allocations.
They must be making Avants that week...

Audi AG keeps most of the Avants in Europe, where the market is stronger than here in the US. Remember, Americans aren't big lovers of "station wagons" and that's how a lot of people see Avants in this country.
Calling AoA is a waist of time, as they don't control either allotments or scheduling. Dealer allotments for Avants are very low. Usually more demand than supply.
Agree that your car will be here sooner than quoted, unless weather delays the ship.
