Default Pass. side seat

Does audi use a % as far as when the pass. side air bag is deployed when there is an adult or a child in the pass. seat?

Default I believe that there is a weight sensor in the chair....I think its 50-60lbs.

not sure if that answers your question.

Default They wiegh the load on the seat and determine activation of airbag or not and they are..

"dual threshold deplyment" which I believe means they deploy in two stages.

Default I find it distracting to see that bright light on the dash when I'm alone in the car

Can I change it with my VAG-COM so that the pass airbag is always on? The yellow warning light is annoying, and clashes with the since warm red glow of the rest of the dashboard.

Default I was told the warning light can't be disabled...

But some people pull the button face off and put some electrical tape on it so you can't see the yellow light.
I imagine messing around with air bag settings would not be a good idea from a safety liability standpoint.

Default I understand a weight sensor

but is there anything determining how much force the air bag is deployed depending on the weight in the seat?

Default Gently pry the button off with a small screwdriver.....It's easy.

Then put a little electrical tape on the inside.

Takes 5 minutes and works perfectly.

Default I think.....

The air bag will only deploy on the pass side if there is someone over 60lbs in the seat at the time of the accident.

Correct????
