Default Passenger mirror folding down when putting manual trans into reverse...
... I read about this in the manual, but even if I put the mirror selector dial toward the Passenger mirror, which the manual states you must do, the Passenger mirror does not tilt down when selecting Reverse with the gearshift. I saw one person mentioning something similar in the archives, but have not been able to find anything definitive. Is this feature restricted to 05.5 cars and the manual is wrong (I have an '06) or to Tip cars, or is there something wrong with my mirror/shifter? The mirrors adjust and retract perfectly otherwise.

It is not available for stick shift...only for Tip/CVT.

Only works if you have memory seats. Mirrors have to know what position to return to.

Hmmm. Anyone have a 3.2 6-speed w/ mem seats that can confirm this?

I have a 2.0T w/memory seats and this works great. Love it!

I have an 05.5--but you have to have the mirror selector on the passenger side for the mirror to go down-don't know about the 06s.
