So just had the whole PCV issue and replaced it with the stock part 06f-129-101-P. The car is 2006 2.0t with 38,000, and is driven by my wife to work and back. Got the part in even replaced the long tube because of a crack that I did. Now the car runs smooth and no more oil pushed out the top but after a load on it and come to a complete stop it drops 200 rpm and then comes back up. Any ideas or do I need to lose some more hair over this car?

Basic setting 60 in Audi/VW is for ECU to learn the full open and full
closed positions through a process known as a Throttle Body Alignment (TBA).
A TBA needs to be performed whenever one of the following occur:
Loss of Voltage to the vehicle (battery disconnected or battery run down to
low voltage)
ECU has been disconnected / reconnected or replaced
Throttle body has been cleaned, removed or re-installed
Accelerator pedal has been removed / re-installed.
You need to have factory or compatible scan tool to perform this.

Thank you oaktreelimb! I disconnected the battery for 15 mins and hooked it back up. Engine light turned off and it doesn't lose the 200 rpm when stopping. We now like each other again.

also took the top off the PCV and found two sections that had tears in it. What a bad part for such a young car with low miles. If anyone wants to see I will post pictures.
