Default POLL: which all season tire would you choose?

I have been looking at choices for an all season high performance tire in a 235/40/ZR18. I have been reading reviews etc, and find it fairly hard to come to a conclusion. I thought I would ask the AUDI community...
Thanks!

Default I just got some Kuhmo ASX s to replace my OEM Conti sports.

My EPS light is popping on all over the place. The side wall is noticeably softer and there is an overall mushy feeling compared to the Contis. I'll get used to it, but there is a hUge difference in traction around corners.

Default I had Falken 512s on my B6 and found their sidewall a little too soft.

But if you don't mind a loss of cornering performance for a bit more comfort in the ride, they might be Ok.

But my OEM Dunlops in 45 series aspect ratio had a stiffer sidewall than them. I personally wouldn't buy them again.

Default I had Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S on my B5 and I was impressed.

For what they were, they were a great all round tire. I had occassion to use them in only light snow, but they did well.

Read Tirerack. Best for the money is Avon M500 M/S. Two friends have them and rave about them

Default I had the General Exclaim UHP and they were rated highly. But I wouldn't go higher than 18" .

Default I had these on my B5 and they were a great tire for the money. I'd buy them again but the dry

summer grip is something less than ultra high performance. If you don't drive your car too hard these are great tires for the money. I got them back when they were $80.00 each. Great deal back then...

Default I swapped my S-Line tires out to these and LOVE them. They're sticky enough in summer to push the

car very hard and I have no complaints whatsoever for winter use. I have had them in deep snow a couple of times and they seem great. Just this week I was able to drive them in 1" slush and up my driveway where the bumper was plowing very wet snow and I made it up hill into my garage with only some struggle. VERY quiet too. When I need new tires I will purchase them again without a doubt.

Default Sumitomo's HTR+ came on my 18's, and they were ok...

They handled pretty decently in dry weather but would slip a little when it was wet. I also have Pirreli P6 Four Seasons 215/55/16 on my winter set, and I love them. Good in the snow (although when they run out I will be getting designated snows) and they ride beautifully otherwise. But I would just do a designated winter/summer tires.
