That's because gas is getting expensive and Quartz gets the best mileage.

I'm surprised to see white so far up there. Maybe all the service vans, delivery trucks, cabs...cop cars.

Because white cars driven by the ave joe seem less and less over time. IMO.

Default I kind of wish I went with a different color.

Don't get me wrong. I love my Quartz Silver color. But every new B7 A4 I see on the road these days, it's the Quartz Silver color. Even when I was at my dealership, out of the 10-12 A4's they had on the lot, about 5 of them were Quartz Silver. That same day I saw one with the Ocean Blue pearl paint w/black interior and it really caught my eye (only prob was that it didn't have the tech package - no HIDs). If it had the tech package, I would've seriously considered trading my car in for that one. But I'm still happy with my A4 and the silver is nice and never looks dirty =)

Default I like quartz because it changes so much with the amount of sunshine.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/94309/p9190025.jpg"></center><p>It appears very dark when cloudy out and almost like silver when it's really sunny.
