RI A6

There is a TSB Update out on bad coilpaks causing misfires which effects some Vin numbers.

MIL on (DTCs for misfire, P0300 - P0312)
28 07 07 Sept. 13, 2007 2013623/3. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 28 number 07-01 dated Feb. 8, 2007 due to update of VIN ranges.

Condition
The MIL is flashing or constantly illuminated, and DTCs for misfire in one or more cylinders (P0300 to P0312, depending on the engine) are stored in the ECM data memory.

Technical Background
The misfire condition can be caused by the ingress of moisture in the ignition coils.

Production Solution
A new generation of ignition coils (supplier Powertrain Pulse ERA) are being installed in production.

Ha. You'd think thousands of B6 1.8T coilpack failures would've taught them how to make a coilpack.

So 2.0T is not affected? Don't see that engine in that post, hopefully we won't EVAR.
