Stupid me thought I'd got a great deal on a set of used PS2's and got them mounted and installed on my 07 A4. On closer inspection I notice they are Porsche rated at 91Y and apparantly I needed 95Y. How dangerous is it toi continue running with these tyres mounted?

I'm not an expert but as long as the fitment and load rating are within tolerances and the speed rating is on par with how fast you drive, I think you should be fine. I think you are referring to load rating which, unless you load your car down, shouldn't be a problem.

Here's a chart of load ratings for tires. 1356 lbs vs 1521 lbs per tire.

What type of A4 do you have and are those 17 or 18 inch tires that you have purchased?

its an 07 A4 2.0T with 235 40 18 tyres on OEM 18" rims

If you are that concerned, call Tire Rack and ask them! Personally, I never buy used tires.

The lowest minimum on any sub-models of the A4 line is 93. The fact that the difference between your tires and factory minimums for your particular is about 200 pounds (in our opinion), it's not recommended and could pose to be a potential safety issue.
