but mid 14s for the B7 with just programming should be expected. With exhaust and deleted cat and exhaust specific programming, perhaps VERY low 14s or VERY high 13s. Turbo upgrades will be out next year probably. cheers! Mike

If you want a quarter mile car get a camaro, or gto, or mustang. I went from a Z28 to my new a4 2.0T. The car is quick but nothing compared to my Z28. I wanted a quality car though, that had 4wheel drive, and was more comfortable and practical so i got this. I mean this car wasnt meant for the quarter mile, and therefore should not be judged on that basis. THere are a lot of fast cars out there, but there are going to be sacrafices you make in features such as practicality, safety, etc (sacrifices all depend on your budget) These cars are quick, but don't buy/not buy it based on its q. mile performance.

I'll never understand why people buy an Audi for 1/4 mile times.
Hell, I don't even understand the obsession with a few 1/10ths 0-60.
If you want a drag car, you're never going to be happy with an Audi.
The car is HEAVY. All Audis are HEAVY.
Luxury and technology come at a price that isn't always monetary..

I'm not looking for 1/4 mile times, but decent acceleration.
Working in the racing industry for some time, I know a car running mid 14's is tolerable on the street.
It a reference point; I really have no interest in drag racing the car.
However, I want it to have adequate power on the street.
An infiniti G35 coupe (for example) can run mid 14's. That's a decent street car.
When you start skirting the 15's or slower, the car is ANNOYING to drive on the street.
I look at 1/4 mile and MPH only as a reference point.

Well, if an APR tuned A4 is in the same range of power, I'd rather have the A4.
The G35 are too plentiful (3 of my 5 best friends have one, lol), and Audi no doubt has better fit/finish.
Also, the infiniti does not lease as well right now.
