Rear Hub Carrier Removal
Further to my earlier thread reference brake pad and rotor replacement: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho....php?t=2780106, I now need to completely remove the hub carrier to allow the two rounded off allen screw fixings that hold the caliper mounting bracket in place to be fully removed by drilling them out.
Has anyone any experience of doing this and if so I would very much welcome some advice. I think I have to remove the inner wheel arch liner, compress the suspension spring and then remove the three fixings which hold the carrier in place.
Can these bolts be removed and re-installed easily and do they have to be replaced with new?
Any help would be most appreciated.
