Default REVO vs. GIAC input needed....

I would love to go with APR...but no local dealers. The 2 tuners I've found have found close to me carry Revo and GIAC. Anyone recommend one or the other? I was pretty dead set on GIAC but after reading the reviews, might go with Revo....

Runnin 91 octane....

Default They are both fine chips.

Is the price the same? Do both offer the switching options that you like? Do you like both tuners equally? Any of the tuners willing to tweak the settings after the installation - hw much for that?

Ask if each will provide you data logs of their program and compare them.

Why were you so dead set on APR?

Default Probably because they've got it all...

Good rep, good dev team, good gains, they update, and they're the only ones that enable program switching without any extra hardware for the B7.

Default The cost is more though . . . and you cannot "resell" an APR chip.

With GIAC and REVO flash loaders, you can at least sell that when you get rid of the car.

Default I was?

I got REVO in my car. I really likes APR cruise control switching capability. But myself I am a REVO guy - I really like their tweaking capabilities and the fact that they released Lemmiwinks a while back.

I guess I am too nice to competition. But I appreciate when someone else does it right.

Default I dont know much about the flash loaders. How do you sell them? ...

You're not talking about the SPS and the switching module for the programs are you? Arent those an extra cost option that requires the car to first be chipped with either Revo or GIAC? I'm just not completely familar with them. Thanks. cheers! Mike
