Is this s-Line interior
I was comparing my car to a guy I know who just bought a 2008 A4. He says it has S-line interior and exterior. I'm not sure about the interior. His shifter is very different from mine, but it does say s-line on the 3 spoke steering wheel. The first two are interior pics of his car (a 2008). Mine is the last one (a 2007). Is his an s-line interior or not?

A reseller will respond if they have a part to sell you.
The interior looks like mine, which is not s-line. Does the from bumper or side markers say s-line? If this car was in NJ most likely they swapped the steering wheel to get a little more on the sale. NJ Audi dealersnare known for these shady tactics.

Open the doors - a true S-Line will have S-Line door sills as in the pics below. My S-Line also has RS4 metal pedals, perforated leather on half the steering wheel and perforated leather on the gearshift ****. These were all factory fitted as part of the S Line package on my 2008 A4 Avant.

No S-line on the door sills on his. Looks like the old steering wheel switcheroo. Interesting.
On the 2007s (like mine) I think they could have s-line badging on the outside, and still not be s-line inside. The 2008s had the exterior done in s-line no matter what (I think), so s-line badging out there would be an indication of interior work only? Not sure.
His is odd because it has an s-line badge on the grill, but the exterior wouldn't be any different anyway due to it being a 2008. Does seem that someone put the grill badge and steering wheel on this car and it is in fact not s-line at all.
Doesn't really matter to me I guess, but was just curious. I probably won't burst his bubble. He just bought the car.

Red sports suspension could the other possible indicator for a full S-Line interior. Know it's outsode but it's the way the sports package was put together for 2008 model year. A complete listing of the factory option codes or a call to Audi with the VIN number would be the definitive way. The option codes are on a sticker in the boot or on one of the manuals that came with the car.

All 2008 A4 Quattros are S-Line although they just put external badges and the brushed aluminum interiors. They don't really have to come with the S-Line sized wheels. The true options are listed either inside the owner's manual or under the spare tire. You will have to look up all the codes. You could have a 2008 S-Line A4 without sport suspension or the steering wheel marking or the door sills. This was when Audi started putting together their own packages and make you buy things that were included before on an ala carte basis.
