You don't have the little shelf below the steering wheel?

just joking...I'm very anti-gun I used to use the steering wheel shelf for some maps pre-Nav install. I think my wife carries some handwipes in there or something to that effect

That's where I store my RNS-E DVD case and my speed camera detector when not driving (out of sight)

Default I use it for this

Except I'm not kidding =o)

Actually, it doesn't quite fit, so this has to go there:

I guess I'm what you would call extremely pro gun.
Living in the vigilant(finally, do to somewhat new laws) state of Florida, there is no greater crime deterrent than a criminal knowing many civilians are carrying concealed weapons.

With the new law, if you are met with force or receive a real threat to your life in ANY place you have a legal right to be (not just at home, but even in a parking garage), you are legally immune to the use of deadly force.
You also no longer have the duty to retreat. You can legally meet force with force.

Not long ago, I was with a group of people at a major theme park in Orlando (In the parking garage) and had a man pull 2 Machetes and rush our group, waving them like a pro.
It started with them getting raally crass with a friends girlfriend, and apparrently he didn't like what my friend had to say.
Granted, I avoid situations like this altogether, and I don't associate with this person anymore because he can't keep his mouth shut, but once the guy pulled his Machete's, it all became very real.

All I could do was grab my Fiance' and run, luckily we were able to get away.
Two fists can't match 2 Machetes.
Never again.

I'm a firm believer in having my left and right arms only, but with the increase in gang activity (many laugh, but it's true)....and the fact that they carry guns and Machetes....I'll keep my nicely concealed piece for that ocne in a lifetime (or hopfeully not at all) situation.

THANK GOD more people feel the way I do.
Did anyone ever see what happened to Australia when they took the guns away? They saw a tremendous increase in gun related crime.

It makes absolutely no sense to pull guns away from law abiding citizens, because the criminals will get them anyway, plus they will know we aren't armed!
It's like getting to loot a store and you know there won't be any cops.....

After speaking with police, they told me I had full legal right to shoot that man on site, and I would have had plenty of time to do so if I was carrying at the time.

They never caught the guy....so who will be his next victim?

Sorry for the rant, but I firmly believe the belief in "gun control" is based on pure ignorance ("ignorance" meaning misinformation, not stupidity. You know I got lots of respect for ya =) and/or lack of experience. (Once again, I don't believe this is the case with you)

Sorry for the rant, lol

PS: It might not be a good idea to break into my house, LOL =o)<ul><li><a href="http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=11101&amp;storeId=10001&a mp;productId=14797&amp;langId=-1&amp;parent_category_rn=15705&amp;isFirearm=Y"> S &amp; W 686 .357 Magnum 7 shot 6</a></li></ul>
