I agree with Kevin - my last car was silver, so that was out. And here in the NYC metro area half the A4's you see are silver. The Dolphin is kind of beautiful, but too dark to always look clean, especailly when you are as lazy as I am. I agree with Kevin that the Quartz changes color - I usually don't like blue, but on very bright days the blue-ish tint it gets looks really cool. I wasn't sure when I got the car, but love it now - everyone says it looks so rich! Caution - I got the ebony leather interior and think it looks so great - but I met someone with a Quartz 06 A4 with the gray interior and to me it looks "cheap".
BTW - what is it that when I just registered at this site I could not find a 2.0 Turbo listed - kind of crazy stuff for an Audi lover's site. The 2.0 has been out for months, even if only in the 2005.5's - I love my Quartz baby!!!

Re: Silver, Quartz, or Dolphin?
My `05.5 A4 2.0T Quattro is Brilliant Red with tan leather interior. I wanted Dolphin Gray, but it was August and none of the three Audi dealerships nearby had the car/color combination I wanted. When I saw the Brilliant Red car I liked it immediately. The A4 shows very well in the red. However, I still think the Dolphin is a beautiful color for the car.
You'll love this car, regardless of the color you ultimately choose.

Thanks for the insights
It's great to hear people that love their Quartz/Ebony combo since that is exactly what I ordered
But there is a Silver Angel and a Dolphin Devil sitting on both of my shoulders. Silver is just so classically beautiful, showing the lines of the car better than any color and Dolphin is dignified and masculine, brother to black and mean as hell.
