Don't know for sure since nobody posted yet that he retrofit a Sirius receiver and the RNS-E. All I know is that the XM receiver 8E0 057 593E works fine with the US RNS-E. I would guess you will need the 8E0 057 593D if you want Sirius and have the US RNS-E.
Which part did your dealer give you? Did he code the RNS-E to support the sat receiver? And last but not least, did he reposition the CAN-BUS connector as decribed here? If he didn't know, he may have given you the 8E0 057 593 (no letter at the end) which doesn't work with the RNS-E. But there may be more secrets...

They did have some initial concern because not all the stations showed up when they first activated. However, after a hour or so, they all showed up. Apparently, it takes longer to download on a Nav+ car or so they told me.

You really made it clear. The other people had XM but now that you have the Nav. with Sirius I know it can be done. My dealer ordered the "right part" but couldn't get it to work. I will try another place. They were gonna give me a good price but I might as well pay more and go somewhere else.

Oh, sirius only gave me 5 minutes then told me it should work. Hmmm I might go back and try it again. This could change everything.

I've been waiting over a month for the right part to arrive from Germany... very irritating. Who's your dealer? I'm in VA--dealer is HBL of Tysons.

AudiA4B6US is right...you need the 8E0 057 593D (with the "D" on the end); it is the only Sirius receiver that will work with nav. Your dealer likely gave you the 8E0 057 593 (without the D) in error. Without the D, you will only be able to tune to one channel. According to clairparts.com, the Ds should be available the first half of June. Audi may not be shipping them until they clear out all the non-Ds.
