Beginning the first day I test drove a B7, I keep getting TL's that think they are in the same league and challenge me.
Where I live, there is this two-lane stoplight at the top of a 1/4 mi. hill. At the bottom, the road turns sharply to the right at the bottom into another stoplight that I turn left on. One time I was in the right lane and a TL pulled up next to me on the left and inched forward. When the light turned green, we took off barreling down the hill, I was in front of course. He tried to catch up but he never had it. I late braked him at the turn. He tried to make up ground coming through the turn but I cut in front of him to pass traffic in the right lane and then drove regular speed to stress the fact who was in front of who.
Later down the road, a car in the right lane exited the road. He tried to pass me (and the slow traffic ahead) on the right but some zombie SUV failed to stop and just came out onto the road. It took him every bit of braking power to stop and avoid an accident or to minimize it.
I guess TL owners desperately want to be in the category that A4's occupy.
