Default Some new pics -- 15mm spacers, S4 style mirrors, debadged, keyhole plug

Got my car washed after the heavy So Cal rain that we recently had and I decided to take some pics of the new mods. Some of the latest mods I did were putting on the 15mm spacers on the rears only, debadged the S-line logo from the rear doors, put on the S4 style mirrors (no, I'm not trying to fake my car as an S4, but I like cleaner look of no badges and I like the shiney mirrors.... plus the exhaust is still A4 so that gives it away), and I got my keyhole plug for the driver side door color-matched. It was overcast today so they came out a little dark looking but here they are anyways.

Some basic shots of the car.

Some shots of the S4 style mirrors. They are the chrome/polished looking ones, which is what I wanted, so it flows with the rest of the chrome trim. Again, not trying to fake the car as a real S4, but I like the look of the mirrors on the car.

Then I had the keyhole plug I had laying around color-matched and then popped it on.

And I put the 15mm spacers on the rear only. I also had 10mm up front but it didn't match as well as I thought it would. With 10mm up front, I would need something like 20-25mm in the rear to match, for as how low looking my car is. With 15mm spacers in the rear, from a distance and with the car lowered, it does make the wheels look more aggressive looking with a wider stance.

Before the spacers, lowered on Eibach Sportlines:

After the spacers installed, lowered on Eibach Sportlines:

That's about it for now. Don't know what my next mods will be. Can't be anything too drastic or expensive (doing it locash style as the car is leased). I might shoot the mufflers and possibly the tow hook in the back a flat black, but we'll see. I just really want my damn license plates to show up in the mail already as it's been over 6 weeks now <img src="http://images.honda-tech.com/set1/smile/emsmilep.gif">

Default Looks good~

How long did it take you to install the mirrors? And where you get it? And last question, did the spacers make a difference on your handling?

Love the mirrors.

I can't do the keyhole plug cause my key fob barely works Anyone else have this problem? I've already had the battery replaced one.

Default What's the point of wheel spacers?

I thought wheel spacers aren't safe to use. Also would it be safe to even use wheel spacers on a quattro while taking it up on the snow? How much for wheel spacers? I just heard it wasn't safe because I did some research on the m3 forums and was told it's better to get a wheel that has an aggressive offset instead of spacers.
