Does anyone know if the new special edition package cars will have S-line as an option?

Per edmunds ording guide, the special edition gives you:
WPD Special Edition Package
Includes leather seating surfaces, multi-level heated front seats, Y-spoke 17" alloy wheels with 235/45R17 all-season tires and Sirius satellite radio with 12 months of complimentary service.


Does anyone know if you can add the sline package on top of that and negate the 17" y-spoke wheels?


My gut says yes because they took away the premium package from the ordering guide, so it looks like all cars will ship with the special edition package with the heated leather seats normally in the premium pacakage.


But when I bought my 05 ultrasport in january 3 years ago, they had the same special edition package on the remaining B6's. Under that package, you couldnt add the ultrasport or convenience package to those cars. They were all shipped with the same options. Only choice was color and transmission.

What color did you go with?

went with ibis white and total was 34,700 before tax (all bs fees were included at that price)

Okay, so your ‘08 is an SE, because you ordered it that way, and it was December of 2007, yes? Where would someone look to verify which they had? For example, does the “SE” model differ significantly from an S-Line mechanically, visually, or both? Did they offer S-Line package by itself or on top of the Special Edition? I’d love to know of a verified, accurate specs page or comparison.

I have a 2008 A4 2.0T Avant Quattro S-Line, FSI engine, manual transmission, and my VIN brings up widely different options depending which system it’s entered into. For instance, it recently came up as an automatic when it’s manual. And, no, I don’t mean optional DSG manual mode, it is true manual trans.

My 2009 A3 S-Line Black/Titanium Edition also had package options issues. This was critical when it came to valuation by my insurance company. It was listed as “base” in many places but she absolutely had a special trim level.

I’m in a battle with insurance over the A4. I want to be sure what model and options I have so that when their remote photo estimates come in low or inaccurate, I can correct and get the best possible payout.

Canadian Version of 2008 A4 Special Edition - it's what my Avant is and then I added the Sports Package option that gave me 18" wheels, S-Line Door Sills, stainless steel pedal caps, 3 Spoke Perforated Leather S-Line steering wheel and perforated leather gear shift ****.
