Sport suspension: part 2. Which parts are changed when the A4 is ordered with sport suspension?

Dampers, bump stops, springs, front strut tower brace...
Just keep an eye out on the classifieds. I sold my old sport sustpension on the B6 with about 10K miles on it for a couple hundred bucks. cheers! Mike

Sounds like it may get expensive.
The dealer has a close match for the car I'm looking for on its way in, but no sport suspension. I'm wondering what it will take to get the sport suspension setup in to the car after the fact if I take this car.

if you order now u will get it in january.
my dealer was trying to push the sline package on me, trying to tell me the suspension is different. I just went for sport. Maybe i'll get 18s or 19s later on.

I'd be okay with taking the S-line, just don't want to wait until January.
I can have the car next week without the sport suspension. 3.2 manual, sunroof, premium, audio/xm/bluetooth, technology, nav. I can't figure out what they were thinking building a car that way without the sport suspension.
2-3 months is a reeeeeeeeeeally long time to wait to get the sport suspension.

Not really. Folks will be throwing on aftermarke springs and coilovers...
and be wanting to ditch their sport suspension while they can still get some money out of it. I'd probably pay about $500 for a <5000 mile full used sport suspension, much less for one with a few miles on it. Or you can pick up aftermarke springs and dampers for about $700 and a new OEM S4 swaybar for another $100. So, $800 and you've got something a little nicer than the OEM sport package. Up to you if it's worth not having to wait and $550 over the sport package. cheers! Mike
