I am currently 25 months into my 39 month A4 lease and am a bit concerned about the prices people are quoting for a new B7 A4 lease.

Here is how my current lease breaks down:

2003.5 A4 1.8T quattro automatic
Ming Blue pearl effect paint
Cold weather package
Premium package
16" upgraded wheels (from 15" standard)
Bose audio system

39 months @ 10K miles/year

Cap cost reduction: 1922.78

Other costs paid in cash (acq. fee, license fee, first month payment, taxes): 1239.88

Adjusted cap cost: 28882.22

Money factor: 0.0005 (1.2% APR)

Total monthly payment: 315.49

Given the higher cost of the new B7 A4, I've seen lease payments ranging from $400 to low $500s. I am wanting to lease again as I do enjoy its benefits over a purchase (new car every few years, lower monthly payments) plus I don't drive that much, so the mileage restriction isn't a problem.

Maybe by October 2006, I'll have that better paying job and be able to afford the higher cost of a 2007 A4 :-)
