VAG-Com errors - Misfire and Memory Check Sum

Default VAG-Com errors - Misfire and Memory Check Sum

The EPC (Engine Management Light) come on this afternoon as I stated up the car after having done some Christmas shopping.
I ran VAG-Com which came back with the following errors.... should I be worried ?

PS - I have a EuroCode Test pipe installed.

3 Faults Found:
000768 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

Default Have you had the ECU flash from the I3 campaign performed?

IIRC the I3 campaign was to correct the memory checksum error. No comment on the misfires.

Default In South Africa they never really ran a campaign as such....

..where cars were recalled to fix a possible fault, rather, it seems, if the fault pops up they then sort it out.
I found this out this morning when I took my car through to the dealer, they updated the software and ordered a set of coil packs to sort out the misfire issue, hopefully I'll get the coil packs tomorrow and the the car will be perfect again.

PS - Now that the software has been updated will I need to get my car re-chipped?
