What happens after the 3 months intro of XM radio is over?

..and it went to demo mode with the 800 number scrolling across the screen. I called and activated the account, which took about 30 minutes. After calling, it downloads some new software and you have to push a button on the radio to actually activate it.
As someone else mentioned, this is not a very organized company. Nobody seems to know what they're doing there. I had to call twice before I reached someone who knew how to do the activation properly.

When my 3 months came due in March, the unit deactivated. I called to re-activate and gave them my credit card #. My unit still didn't work so the next day I called again to re-activate, then it worked, so I assumed that I would get billed monthly starting April (this month).
Anyways, I just logged in to my Sirius account and discovered My activation date is as of March and the plan I'm on is the 3-month trial with monthly subscription. Yeah, I'll take another 3 months! LoL.
