Default What offset for new 18x8 wheels for a new S-line????

I want to get some new wheels for my S-line and like the stock rubber so want to keep all of the same wheel and rubber sizes however I'd like to have some lip on the wheels too and not have any tire sticking out of the fenders. What kind of offset am I looking at that will give me:

1. as much lip as possible

2. clear the brakes with no problems

3. won't stick out of the fender wells

Thanks for any help!!! I'm really looking at something in the style of the Axis Supermesh/BBS type look...that's the hotness.

Default S-Line is 42, you want 35. (Updated)

S-Line offset is listed on AudiUSA page - click on the wheels as you are looking at the A4 model.

I know ET35 works great as that is what most B5 S4 owners run and their OEM was 42 as well. I have also seen pictures of modified A4's. Finally most aftermarket companies will confirm that, and already offer ET35 for most of their wheels. ET37 will work great as well. Anything below ET32 looks bad. Wheel sticks out too much. Of course, unless you get the RS4.
