Audi's A4 data sheet says that B7 A4s wheels have offsets of 42mm (16" and 17" wheels) and 43mm (18"). The widest stock tire is a 235/40 on the S-Line.
My question...using a wheel with a bigger offset (35mm), do you think it's possible to run a 245 without rubbing the fender liner in tight turns or under suspension compression?
