What are your thoughts on the VW Passat 3.6 4motion?How would it compare to an A4 3.2Q besides size?

I've never driven one, but I would guess that it's pretty quick. With some suspension mods, it might handle pretty good, too. Unless you're into that kind of cushy ride.
Are you into sport with luxury or are you into luxury with some sport? That's what you need to ask yourself.
You could also save a bundle going with the VW, but Audi's are so much cooler...

Plus, I'd just regret not getting an A4 the whole time if I'd have purchased a Passat instead. Also consider your dealer network. Where I live the service is excellent at the Audi dealer and, according to friends and co-workers, very lacking at the VW dealerships.

If I were looking to buy an automatic, this would be a tough call, but I'm NOT looking to buy an automatic, so... it's not.
But the VR6 motor has more character and with an aftermarket exhaust, it would sound amazing...
