Default I've seen a few running around town and they look nice.

I've never driven one, but I would guess that it's pretty quick. With some suspension mods, it might handle pretty good, too. Unless you're into that kind of cushy ride.

Are you into sport with luxury or are you into luxury with some sport? That's what you need to ask yourself.

You could also save a bundle going with the VW, but Audi's are so much cooler...

Is this for someone who wants both

Default I think it's nice enough but lack of a manual tranny kills any thought of it.

Plus, I'd just regret not getting an A4 the whole time if I'd have purchased a Passat instead. Also consider your dealer network. Where I live the service is excellent at the Audi dealer and, according to friends and co-workers, very lacking at the VW dealerships.

Default Torsen>Haldex but 3.6VR6>3.2V6

If I were looking to buy an automatic, this would be a tough call, but I'm NOT looking to buy an automatic, so... it's not.

But the VR6 motor has more character and with an aftermarket exhaust, it would sound amazing...
