Whistle from timing belt when cold outside!

Hi,
I have a A4 2.0T Quattro 2007, 19000miles on the clock.
The car is parked outside in a carport, temperatures around zero degrees centigrade over the night and in the day. When I start the car in the morning I hear a whizz sound coming from the timing belt/multi-belt. But after a couple om miles it stops. This must be because of the cold and the belt/starp gets cold and hard? When the engine reaches some temperature after a couple of miles the sound disappears. I think because when the engine room gets warm the belt/strap loses up a little and it's all OK.
What do you think? Has anyone experienced anything like this?
PS: The car is connected to an engine/coupe heater and I aways let the car spin for 1-2 minutes before taking of. And no "hard" gas until the car reaches normal temperatures.
Thanks!

It's probably not serious, but warrants monitoring. Could be a pulley or something going bad. If that's the case, the sound will gradually become more pronounced and probably won't go away after a few miles. I wouldn't do anything yet, other than keeping an eye on the belts for signs of odd wear that might indicate a more serious problem.

I've noticed mine squeeking on cold starts also, it should be covered under warranty. They are apparently prone to bearing failure. I'd get it checked out soon just to be sure.
