Has anybody ever had the problem of a whistling drivers side mirror. When I hit 55mph and up, my mirror whistles pretty bad. It is a little better if I am in the draft of another car though.

You might try folding the mirror to the closed position and then moving it back. A little whistle may just be the slightest anomoly ni the airflow through the seem that's there. Worth a try. Maybe wash it with water real well too, just to make sure a piece of dirt or dust isnt't the culprit.
