Default 10-spoke-design vs 5-spoke-design

Looking at a new A4 and notice for the Premium Plus package you can choose either 18" 10-spoke-design with 245/40 all-season tires or 18" quattroŽ GmbH 5-spoke-design wheels with 245/40 all-season tires which looks better? Comes as a free add-on, so no extra charge.

I think the 5-spoke are much nicer...

Are you referring to what the online configurator is showing? I saw that, but it didn't make much sense...

When I was considering a 2011 A4 last year, I thought the 5-spoke looked really nice in pictures but the 10-spoke didn't appeal to me. However, when I saw these two wheels in person at a dealership, I did a complete 180. The 5-spoke immediately struck me as sort of cheap-looking and the 10-spoke looked much nicer than in pictures (although they're more of a pain to clean).

I think the 5 spoke look much nicer as well. It's a big plus on the easier cleaning too, though from other posts on here it seems that brake dust is less of an issue now.

I was just noting in another thread that I'm a "5 spoke guy", so that would be my vote.

+100 (But they are quite easy to clean with a good wheel cleaner in a spray bottle)

Also a fan of the ten-spoke. Seeing them in person is a must.

I'm generally a fan of 5-spoke designs but my sport pkg-equipped A4 came w/ the 10-spoke 18"s and I miss them from time to time. They are some of the best-looking 10-spoke designs I've ever seen and something about the design makes them look almost the size of 19"s. Also, they look great in motion. I prefer them easily over the 18" 5-spoke alternatives.

I have the 10 spoke. They are beautiful on a 2009 sports package. Hard to keep clean but I heard the 2012s have cleaner brake pads.

My lease is over in April. I would get them again but hate having P6 all-seasons. Love my summer P7s. Maybe I will move to an A6 or a Q5. Lets see what deals are there.
