I was also charged $130 for chrome tips on my 2011, so I would be pissed if they were actually supposed to be standard.

I did a live chat and they said they would fit my car.

Same experience here on my '11 A4, the purchase order showed $130 for the tips.

I ordered a 2011 A4 sedan and did not get them on it when i picked it up. I found Audi ones online for about $90 and it took about 10 minutes to install them (no tools needed)! Audi needs to step up and include these on every car in their portfolio!

I don't know where I read it, some new car magazine, but thats where I saw that they were goign to be standard. They are obviously wrong. I didn't see the article until about a month after I bought my 2011 in July and I was super angry that I was charged for the chrome tips. Now that everyone is reporting that they are not standard I feel a lot better. Thanks for correcting me!

Picked up an 11' last week that came with tips and did not pay extra. The vehicle was a prestige model so maybe it depends on what level of trim you select.

I got the ECS tips yesterday and they are very nice, and they do fit the Avant mufflers.

I also picked up a set of ECS tips for my 2011 A4 Avant. I went to install them this weekend. When I dry-fit them over the exhaust pipes, I noticed that the angle wasn't quite right - the exhaust pipes are much more aggressively angled than the tips. So I took another look at the box and saw that ECS Tuning sent me tips for a MKI TT. The part number on the box I have is 8N0071910. According to the ECS Tuning website, the part number for A4 tips is 8N0098911. When I suggested there was mixup on my order, they told me that the TT parts are the right ones and that they should fit my A4. Interesting. Can anyone confirm that?

gkgeiger or a4-bob, can you read off your part number if you still have the box they came in?

Peace,
alk
