I've had my winter set on for a few weeks now. We've barely had any snow at all, but the Blizzaks bite where it counts, and they're surprisingly quiet. Much quieter than the 245/40-18" Pirelli P6 All-seasons that I am prepared to replace with dedicated summer tires very soon. I will say I can definitely feel some tire roll and floatiness at the limit in the tighter twisties around here, but I guess I can't have everything I want all the time! I had these rims on our old 535xi wagon and I'd thought I'd give that car a little nod by getting the same set again. No real complaints so far. Total was around $1700 from TireRack before installation (which was $5/wheel).

225/50-17" Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 Studless Ice and Snow with 17" Rial Como Bright Satin Finish (23.5lb each).

Please excuse the filth. I'm training myself to give up on the rigorous cleaning until March.
