Default 2.0T Noise Pipe Eliminator Plugs

"These have been in great demand and we finally got them back in stock. This time we had a couple hundred of them made and are offering them for only $21.95 shipped!!!

This will work on all 2.0T with the noise pipe that runs into the wiper cowl. On TSI cars simply remove the pipe and insert the plug its that simple. On FSI cars the hose which comes off the throttle body pipe does need cut as it is different then the TSI component but is still a very simple task.

Click the "Read More" button for a picture and link to order.

Plugs can be purchased directly from our web store: HERE"

Has anyone undergone this modification? If so, how does it sound and does it change performance?-I quoted the entire article.

Does it allow for removal/blocking of the helmoltz resonator on the intake? i.e. the pipe that allows for a different sound on the 4-cylinder Audis. IIRC it was pioneered on the TT.

I would think in theory it would at least change the way the car sounds to the occupants.

Example of plugging a "noise pipe" on a GTI.

I sure it is debatable if it has any performance effect.
