After driving home my new A4 I noticed there's no place to mount a license plate on the front of the car. The dealer said they would mail me a bracket to snap onto the front of the car which will replace the existing bracket. Do you think I can do this on my own without any tools?

It's SUPER easy. philips head screw driver, 2 screws, and that's it.
Just remove the screws shown in the picture, then pull the filler panel out, and slide up. It'll come right off. Then just do the reverse to put in your license plate holder, and put the screws back on. I think you're crazy to put the license plate holder on... but I guess some people are a little more concerned about abiding by their local laws than by astetics than me

I actually think the grill looks best with a plate, a european plate is better than the US shape, but I actually think the large grill opening just needs something to break it up a little.

My spelling is horrible and I can't find the edit button ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Personal preference of course, but I hate the US plate on the grill. I think the filler panel does well to break up the space, and it just looks great with the thin chrome bars along the top and bottom.
