I tried to order my '11 Avant Premium+ in Aruba Blue two weeks ago, only to learn that even though it still showed as an available color for the Avant on the US website, it was no longer available- replaced by Teak Brown Pearl Effect, which still doesn't show on the website. It looks like Audi updated the Sedan color offerings, but not the Avant offerings.

I had considered doing a custom order, in which case I would have gone with one of BMW's deep metallic blues, which are amazing, but since I lease rather than purchase, I did not think that it would have helped on the residual value, and that I would have to shell out the $2,000. It just didn't make sense for me.

Yeah it's quite a steep price for just a color. I intend to keep the car for a long time though so was willing to spend that kind of money in order to obtain it. I wonder how good the new Teak color is doing compared to how the Aruba did, better or worse, sales-wise?

yesterday i purchased a aruba blue 2010 a4 avant. i wasn't crazy about the color but the price was too good to pass up for this new car. since you all feel so strongly about the color..i'm going ot re-evalant my thoughts.. wish me luck...lol
