Default I remember hating the B6's when they came out.

I had owned a B5 for many years, and I thought the B6's actually ruined the car's good looks. But I needed a new car, so I bought a B6. After awhile, the car's looks grew on me, and I realized how ancient it made the B5 look.

I skipped the B7 altogether, because I considered it just a minor refresh. But when the B8 came out, I liked it right away.

I'm planning to keep my car until the next generation (B9? B10?) comes out. Although I may be tempted by a sedan-style A3 that is the same size as my old B5.

Default The 2008 was a minor refresh of the B6, and they named it B7 ...

. . . so, I guess they will call the 2013 A4 the B9 -- although they might want to skip a number, lest some smart-aleck automotive writer refer to the car as "benign."

I actually mostly like the refresh, but this picture is unflattering. I think they could have made the inner vertical edge of the headlights parallel with the long vertical segment of the grill, instead of the line segment that cuts the corners of the grill.

Both the new 3 and the B8 refresh have "frowning" headlights, but with the 3, it is the top eyelid that has been squished down, whereas with the A4, it looks like the bottom eyelid has been raised up, if you know what I mean And the latter is a little weird.

But I do like what they have done to the interior, especially with the reduction in fake chrome surface area.

I tested a '13 S4 last Wednesday (Audi North Austin) they received 3 trucks of 13 models last weekend... Mine is scheduled to arrive in Huston July 19.

I agree, it has a sharper look to it.

I got a call from a dealer in San Diego sayin they'll be in this week. Looking forward to see it in person. I happen to like the front end when I look at the pics on the Nalley site.

Anyone played with the new MMI?

Just FYI, if you believe certain websites, about 1/3 of the current A4 in inventory in Los Angeles is made up of 2013s.
