2014 A4 or wait for 2015

The B9 A4 won't debut until this autumn at the earliest in Europe with sales starting in 2015. This means that we will soldier on here in the US until at least autumn of 2015 before seeing the car here. That said, if I were a betting man I'd put the introduction and market launch at Geneva in March, 2015.
One of the big reasons to select an A4 over the new A3 is if you'd like a manual transmission, which is not being made available in the A3 here in the US. Second, being a slightly larger car the suspension will be more compliant. My understanding from talking with several European friends is that the A4 offers more rear seat head and thigh room and also has slightly better sound insulation than does the A3.
None of these are knocks on the A3, mind you.

Why not lease and get an idea of the cost of getting out early when the 2016 comes out prolly around fall 2015 usually if ur sticking with them they will work with you on getting into another lease especially when they will be trying to unload the new models

Getting a 2014 (supposed to be at dealer tomorrow - weather permitting which it isn't). Choice sort of decided because my BMW lease ends now.
I worry about features etc. I love to drive manual cars. I think that era is about over unfortunately. I was deciding on 2011 (old model BMW) or 2012 which was new design - it turns out in the model I wanted - no manual so I'm glad I got the 2011. Will manual be offered with 2015?
To me if you like what car has get it - you can always wait but you can't never really tell what you will get - they could offer options you don't like or you could think the new interior is ugly.
I've had some bad experience with first years of a new model but you can always get a problem car.
If you like it get it now.

I have never been a fan of leasing. While I like the lower monthly payment I don't like the fact that car really isn't mine. I have also heard of people getting screwed at the end of their lease term.
