I just tried to hook up an iPod to my new 2010 A4 and it seems that all I get is a list of all songs in the iPod, which makes it very annoying to find a song when you have 10 GB of music in it.
Is there a way to browse songs in a similar way to how browsing songs on the iPod work? (ie, list by artist or by album).
How does the SD card listing work? If I put the files in folders will I be able to see the folders in the MMI or am I going to get a flat list with all files in the card?

iPod - mine works fine on my MY2010 car.
Try pressing <RETURN> to go up a level and you should get to the choices of Artist, Album etc
SD - Folders work. I think it's down to three levels. It's in the manual.

Ipod should sort the same way. Try hitting the RETURN button or scroll up to the "Go Up" at the top. That will back you up in the menus on the Ipod. That should be what you're after.

I see it now, I didn't notice I could go up more levels to get the other lists. I feel stupid for asking it now but the car so many features that I get lost sometimes.
