I like the wheels, but am more a fan of the anthracite or silver on the inside rather than black. Something more like this:

Solid-spokes are more appealing to me than meshes, and they're MUCH easier to clean. Do the Votex sideskirts extend below the bottom of the car?

You're right, the black painted finish isn't for everyone, and that is part of the reasoning as to why they are also offered in silver and anthracite as you mentioned. That said, Audi is definately taking notes from current trends in automotive parts and accessories, and developing some unique and stylish wheels (not just the Hollow-spoke wheels either). And you are correct, they are very nice to clean

As for the Votex side sills, they do extend only very slightly below the bottom of the car. Essentially they give more of an appearance of being lower than they actually are.
