HI All,
new poster and in need of help please
I have an A4, B8 model 3.2 Quattro
The car is not holding the battery charge for more than 2 days if the car has not been used during this time.
I have recently replaced the battery for a new one and the car also had a new ECU fitted
My MMI NAV also has issues stating TM not installed? im advised it could be an optical issue if that helps? All other functions(CD/Radio etc etc) all still work with no problems
Look forward to any help
Thanks to all

A couple of questions:
Was the new battery code (reflecting production date) entered after replacement? If not the Battery Energy Management may still think there is an old battery in the car.

What kind of ECU? (aftermarket)?
For MMI does TM refer to Sirius Traffic Module? It is plug and play into the optical MOST system, perhaps that is what it is referring to.

The battery issue I feel is more of drain within the electrical system and a diagnostic should hopefully identify this issue. The battery was installed by the same tech who installed the new ECU, at the same time
ECU was an official Audi replacement from Germany, not aftermarket and installed by an independent Audi Tech
I would say yes to your TM advised comment above, shall I pass that advice to the Audi Tech to look into? 1 of the techs did say it may be an optical issue, if that's helps?
Sorry, im not very good on the technical side of cars and all help is very much welcome to end this headache
Thanks
