Hello.
I own a 2010 A4 1.8T that comes with (according to the users manual) a Symphony radio. The integrated (Audi-branded) radio has an SD memory card slot and it plays my music off the card fine. That is, I copied some music in ARTIST/ALBUM/songs format and it plays the music.
The issue I am having is with playlists. All my music is in iTunes and I have some playlists which I would really like to have on the SD card. However, it does not recognize the M3U files I am using.
I tried using the Doug's M3U script, but my A4 does not recognized the playlists, even if I save the playlist using Windows CRLF instead of Unix LF for the end of lines (I am using a Mac). I also tested leaving the playlists in the root folder as well as in PLAYLIST and PLAYLISTS folder of the SD card. Nothing.
Any guidance on how to export iTunes playlists to a format that will be recognized by the A4 would be most welcome. Is there a script, plugin or program that I could use to do this?
Thanks!!

No idea on the Symphony radio, but with my MMI 3G "low" (DVD base, no Jukebox HDD), I never managed to get playlists to work on SD cards. Individual files were absolutely fine, but playlists always got greyed out, no matter how they were formatted, or edited, or where the music was stored in the file structure.
I could only conclude that playlists didn't work on MMI 3G Low
