A4 Rear Bumper Stains

A4 Rear Bumper Stains
I own a 2012 White A4 2.0T and when I was the car, the rear bumper is some what stained. The stain does come off but only with a lot of elbow grease. It's a pain and the dealership told me that it's from the exhaust mixing with the dirt which seems to stick to the clear coat. Anyone have any suggestions to clean this easier?

I have an Ibis White 2011 A4 and have exactly the same issue. It appears to be the hot exhaust fumes mixing with dirt in a combination that is near impossible to wash off. I have made the following changes that have helped somewhat, but are not 100% effective.
1. longer exhaust tips (as much as I despise their look) that move the hot air further back and away from the bumper
2. a thorough and deep application of paint protectant followed by 2 layers of waxing
Curious to see what others have tried.

Try some Soft Scrub. It's a mild polishing compound mixed with soap. Wax the area when it's clean. Find it with the household cleansers in the supermarket.
I have a white DD and it takes stuff off that bug and tar or gasoline doesn't touch.
